Local Christmas Tree Farms are ready for the Season with an abundant Supply of Trees

As the holiday season approaches, the New Hampshire-Vermont Christmas Tree Association invites families to celebrate one of New England's most cherished traditions: visiting a farm to bring home a real Christmas tree.
Despite the challenges of recent weather patterns, including a wet Spring and dry Summer, local tree growers are reporting an abundant supply of healthy, vibrant trees ready for the season. Thanks to years of careful cultivation and expert stewardship, farms throughout New Hampshire and Vermont are thriving with Christmas trees that capture the true beauty of the holidays.
"Christmas tree growers are remarkably resilient," said Veronica Francis, Executive Director of the NH-VT Christmas Tree Association. "Even when the weather tests them, their knowledge and dedication ensure that families across New England can experience the magic of a real Christmas tree."
The NH-VT Christmas Tree Association has over 150 Farm members throughout New England and all are reporting their fields are full of healthy trees ready for the season. Nigel Manley, owner of South Farm in Bethlehem, NH, reported that the abundance of water in the Spring helped his larger trees grow faster and some grew a remarkable four feet in one season!
Real Christmas trees offer more than just a beautiful centerpiece for the holiday season. They fill homes with a fresh, natural fragrance, create treasured family memories, and support local agriculture and open space preservation. Each purchase from a local farm helps sustain rural communities and maintain the scenic landscapes that define New England.
Visitors can find nearby farms offering choose-and-cut experiences, pre-cut trees, wreaths, and other festive greenery through the Association's online Farm Directory. "Bringing home a real Christmas tree is a joyful reminder of tradition, community, and nature's beauty," Francis added. "Our growers take pride in providing trees that make the holidays truly special - and this year's crop is looking as strong and full as ever."
